Penny Lane Cafe is owned and operated by a local resident, Anne Valby, with the help of her daughter, Angel Valby. Anne always dreamed of opening a cafe, and as soon as this space in the Clarence Courtyard opened up – she jumped at the opportunity. This colorful entrepreneur is also a mother of 6 children, and thrives off tackling one challenge after another.
Anne has been an artist since she was a child. From painting to building to bedazzling everything she touches, her attention to detail is above and beyond… which is pretty clear if you’ve enjoyed the atmosphere she’s created at Penny Lane Cafe.
As a mother, she always cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for her very full household – as well as any friends and family who wanted to stop by. The more the merrier…
Anne has an eye and taste for all forms of art, including culinary. The menu at Penny Lane Cafe was personally made by Anne – all the unique dishes, creative touches, and fresh ideas. Although this is Anne’s ‘maiden voyage’ as a restaurateur, it’s clear already that she knows exactly what her customers want. Just ask some of the new customers who have already become regulars!
It’s obvious when someone puts their heart & soul into something, and we know you will feel right at home when you walk through the doors of Penny Lane Cafe.
